A symptom of what?
“A symptom of what?”
I should have said those are not my words. They are the words of my previous ENT.
It’s a “symptom”?
A symptom of what?
...
Hearing loss. The brain is creating its own sound to make up for lost frequencies.
Iodine deficiency (in addition to hearing damage).
Long story short: Among the many symptoms I reversed “accidentally” in my 8-year health recovery were a number of symptoms resolved when I realized that I’d suddenly become afflicted with severe hypothyroidism. I later learned that I’d been suffering mild symptoms of hypothyroidism my entire adult life. It’s just that the changes I’d imparted upon my health had the ironic effect of worsening some symptoms as I addressed others (there is a clinical approach for my method which I am intentionally-avoiding elaborating upon here).
In short, after much research I settled upon a form of Icelandic Kelp to serve my iodine requirements since I was (allegedly) deficient. I began at USRDA (2mcg) and over a period of 8 weeks increased that to 20mcg (you read that right, 10x USRDA). For me, at that state of my health it wasn’t until I reached 20mcg that I saw any change whatsoever.
Suddenly (when I write suddenly, I MEAN “suddenly”) ALL of the symptoms of hypothyroidism were gone. I’m talking within a mere week. Another symptom which reversed in the same time period: Sensitive teeth. My entire life I DREADED the dentist’s pick. Now I feel NOTHING, normal like most everyone else. Dry skin: Gone as well in a few months. That includes the scabby elbows I’d attributed to age, as well as horrible problems with my feet.
It was months later when I had a single bout of tinnitus that I realized it had improved that symptom as well: At the worst of my health decline I was having tinnitus episodes near daily after awaking, usually in the morning (after bouncing off of the wall from loss of balance). Now I can’t remember the last time I had an episode of tinnitus, but I’m sure it’s only been twice in the prior 2 years since my health recovery.
Grain of salt? (no pun intended) Perhaps.
It’s all true. And I’m not selling anything. But one caveat: the Iodine was in conjunction with a comprehensive lifestyle change as well as eradication of a gut parasite.
However, there have been 2 times when I ran out of iodine and procrastinated going to the store to get more. Both times my teeth became more sensitive and I experienced tinnitus.
FWIW.
