They were bad but still can’t compare to today. The Muslim beheadings, bombings and burnings alive are worse.
We are seeing great injustice. The Deep state/Globalists are as evil as anyone who ever lived.
If they could do so, there is no doubt that the Progressives/leftists of today would load us onto railroad cars and haul us away.

But from what I know of it, "The Handmaid’s Tale" is a textbook case of cultural jamming, a tactic akin to one of Alinky's rules, "#13 'Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.' Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions."
The program paints Christians as oppressors. Because the visual images are so powerful, the gullible actually believe that the oppression depicted in "The Handmaid’s Tale" is mainstream Christianity. This cultural jamming is intended to polarize the nation against Christians and against Republicans.
Islam refers to sex slaves as “women of [your] right hand”. Perhaps the book was originally designed to impugn Islam. But it’s clear the creators of the television series want to impugn Christianity. I’m not Catholic, but all Christians are targets of the Left. They would murder us all if they could.
