One of the most glaring changes to occur in my lifetime has been the rise of leftist delusions. I actually remember the time when leftists had gripes which could be argued were possibly legitimate when viewed through their lens.

But now they just make things up out of nothing. In an individual these beliefs are termed delusional. Complete fantasy. But when the delusional have a quorum, suddenly it's fact. So what rights are being denied to women? Women have it pretty good in this country, better than the men for the most part, by almost any measure.

Judge Kavenaugh is another focus of delusion. The man has had a straight forward political career without controversy or corruption. And yet to read the media and left wing copy on the guy, you'd think he was Judge Roy Bean, personally hanging innocent defendants at a gibbet in the courthouse parking lot.

But from what I know of it, "The Handmaid’s Tale" is a textbook case of cultural jamming, a tactic akin to one of Alinky's rules, "#13 'Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.' Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions."

The program paints Christians as oppressors. Because the visual images are so powerful, the gullible actually believe that the oppression depicted in "The Handmaid’s Tale" is mainstream Christianity. This cultural jamming is intended to polarize the nation against Christians and against Republicans.
