Amnesty international has been a shadow puppet of various government agencies which fund it since the very early eighties.
Local chapters have zero input or affect on the organizational headquarters and usually fold when that fact finally dawns on the members. I attended one such group in ‘86 to ‘87 at Oklahoma State.
Its a propaganda mouthpiece wholly controlled by the deep state.
The more general problem is conservative activists don’t try to get control of these groups, but leftists are always available to corrupt everything.
I see you have had an experience with that communist front known as Amnesty International. I had an experience but it was different from yours.
