AMEN! Just imagine: there are whole generations of "Gibsmedats" who have never known that deep satisfaction of having accomplished something. Worse, the current generations have had even the urge to try brainwashed out of them.

Not long ago, I was in a doctor's waiting room, creating a map or a presentation on my laptop -- when a sturdy, 20-something white guy asked, "Why are you doing that?"
I probably answered something like, "To stay busy..."
Whereupon, he said, "Man, you're crazy! I hurt my back awhile ago, and now I'm on full Disability -- and don't have to do nothin!"
Before I had time to respond, a 5 or 6 y/o boy came out of the office. The guy sprang to his feet, lifted the kid onto his shoulders -- and boogied off down the hall...
Left me SMH... And then I got mad, because the worthless punk was making me pay for his laziness! :-(
