Not just the left. There are forces on the right as well. They want to maintain the Status Quo.
I have to be careful because my subconscious image of left and right puts the middle-of-the-road to the right of about 2/3 of the Republicans. :)
Though things are, perhaps, improving, there are still more RINOs than conservatives in the R column. I consider a RINO to be "liberal-lite". The D column is hopeless.
“Right” and “Left” are really meaningless dsignations and I humbly submit they should be jettisoned. What do they even mean? I have no clue.
IMHO practically all Dems are evil, and many Rs. I remember Q had a message something about it’s not D vs R, it’s Good vs Evil and Right vs Wrong.
People may surprise us.
