Looking at things from the GOP perspective, the tradeoff, if it is one, is the question of whether or not the Q phenomenon is a net benefit at the polling places.
Those who follow Q will tend to be motivated to vote. Do you want more of them, or fewer?
Perhaps Q is as much partner as competitor.
And with that, my naptime is over and my workday begins. On the road. Carry on.
Good points. Yes, more Q would be better, as I expect they would all vote accordingly.
But how do you reach new people?
Will you garner more people posting on 8chan, or engaging in tried-and-true grassroots GOTV?
I can discuss issues with people face-to-face by knocking on doors, for example.
Or, I could just tell them to Google 8chan. But, to do that, I'd still have to get my ass off from in front of the computer and go door-to-door anyway.
How many centrists, uncommitted, undecided, or leaning-one-way-or-the-other voters randomly Google "Q," "QAnon," "8chan", or the like each day?
Q is hardly a new phenomenon at this point. Yet, nobody in my world, outside this community, would have the vaguest notion what Q is if I mentioned it in conversation.
