There might be a couple of extra parsecs between future Star Wars films.

Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed there will be a 'slowdown' of its Star Wars output, following disappointing returns on the Solo standalone.

'I made the timing decision, and as I look back, I think the mistake that I made — I take the blame — was a little too much, too fast,' he admitted to The Hollywood Reporter.

All these women in charge, and they have no idea how to create positive female role models on the screen.

I've wondered about that myself. Came to the conclusion that no one else hates women as much as other women.

Solo wasn’t bad by any stretch of the imagination ... especially given how it had to be reworked. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t awful.

If Ep VIII wasn’t so frigging terrible, Solo would have done well at the box office. Instead, that lousy bitch running the show managed to LOSE significant cash on a frigging Star Wars film (you have to work hard to do that!!!).

I still can’t see why they’re giving that director, Rian “Lil’ Kennedy Bitch” Johnson (or whatever his name is) the keys to the SW universe ... Ep VIII had some cool scenes, but the important stuff, like story, character development, etc., was a disgrace. It was a convoluted disaster. They should have just let JJ direct all three for better or worse ... Rian is frigging AWFUL.

They won’t be getting a dime from me for a long time ... if ever again.

Rogue One was a decent flick. One that I would watch again if I came across it.

I see “Force Awakens” on TNT or some other channel and I take a pass. I would rather watch “Empire Strikes Back” for the 1000th time.

I lost interest after trying to watch episodes I, II, and III. Terrible direction, casting, plotting, storylines, etc. Boring. After that crap-fest watching ROTJ is wonderful, even with those stupid freaking Ewoks.

My new favorite trilogy is the 3rd one (Revenge of Sith), Rogue One, and Star Wars. With "Sith" as the weakest link, but required to set up the rest.

Flows really well, and the movies don't entirely suck. Idiot who played Anakin Skywalker emotes like a block of wood, but you don't really watch "Star Wars" movies for the great character depth.

That picture with all the women is what mystifies me. Here's the thing: Last Jedi was created by SJW women, but the women in the film are all made to look ugly and gender neutral, at best.

Look again at that photo, and see if you can make the connection between what you said they did to the women in the film and their own appearances.

As a 30+ year fan who became one as an adult(no childhood destruction) allow me to give you a checklist from OUR(your customers) perspective:
PC doesn't belong in SW. The whole idea was that it was NOT us, not HERE. It was an escape, a fantasy we could relate to but were not battered with.
You UNDID the core PREMISE of the story.It's like re-writing WW2 and saying the Allies were fools, the war was a waste and the Nazi's won. Did you have a corporate meeting to come up with the best way to kill 'old' SW so you could have a blank slate for your version? The bad guys were the Empire, the Rebels were the good guys. Evil lost in the end. Good triumphed. We celebrated and loved it.
You show the rebellion as losers. 30 years later the bad guys are bigger and badder. All those rebels died for nothing. They were stupid-WE were stupid to believe it! You wanted their past dead-killed- and their naïve fandom dead with it.(But you still want our $$)

You UNHEROED the hero.In 30 years he had NO adult Knights out there-no graduates except psycho nephew? You made him a weak, beaten loser in HIS eyes and the viewers eyes!Fans didn't want that anymore then they want a child molester Batman with a leather fetish or delusional Spiderman who climbs out of buildings and falls to his death.

Once you say everything we liked was wrong and should be discarded, you offer the Female Karate Kid. Uber Marysue! Stronger, faster, better and scarier than any living being! And so mysterious. Newsflash 'mystery' in this case is lack of depth in storytelling. Cartoonish.
Final clue that it's Disney's reimagined SW that is wrong- your lead actor( who has lived with this character) doesn't understand what the hell you did or why you're doing it. He told you to 'give the fans what they want'. Disney/Johnson said 'NO we give them what WE want'!!

Watched Solo last night. Right up to the end I thought it was a decent movie. The kid didn’t do that bad playing Solo. He’s a bit on the short side and at times that was a distraction. Then at other times he wasn’t ‘rugged’ enough, but overall not terrible. No one was going to live up to young Harrison Ford though.

Spoilers inc...I actually enjoyed the movie right up until they revealed the rival gang leader and her motives. It completely broke the immersion to have the rival as a fifteen year old kid and complete of course all the usual downtrodden anti-white male crew.
