I’m with you on the IQ thing. In fact I am amazed at the number of elected representatives appear to be dumber than a bag of hammers. While a couple of republicans are included in the mix the democrats bar far hold the title to America’s Most Ignorant People. I mean seriously, who thinks Maxine Waters has the intellect of a potato? I would give anything to see her take a stabdard intellegence or aptitude test. I have no doubt she would be in the bottom 10 percentile, as would a large number of democrat representatives. The only “smarts” they have is the evil dangerous kind that gives them an ability to lie with a straight face and to fool similar mental midgets into voting for them.
There used to be a complaint that it was always the same small group of elected officials that appeared on the C-Span morning show and the other Sunday Morning programs (and a lot of the public affairs shows in general). The reason for it was because so many of the other members of Congress were so incredibly stupid and too fearful to go on the shows, most would simply not respond to invitations.
