The trans woman UCI Masters Track World Championship cycling gold medalist is defending her win against criticism that it's unfair for her to have competed against cisgender females. Rachel McKinnon, 36, an assistant professor of philosophy at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, scooped up the top prize during the October 14 race, besting cis females Carolien van Herrikhuyzen and Jen Wagner-Assali, who took silver and bronze, respectively. The day after McKinnon's win, Wagner-Assali stirred up controversy when she replied to a tweet about the race with her own tweet suggesting that McKinnon was not deserving of winning the 35-44 age bracket.

No such thing as a transgender. This guy has a mental illness resulting in gender confusion. Surgically mutilating your body will never turn you into the opposite sex. Nor will idiotic laws that allow you to get a new birth certificate or driver’s license listing you as the opposite sex.
Gosh - I have an old driver’s license that says I’m 18 and living in another State....can I use that instead of the one with the real info on it?

The whole point of female sports, is not that someone is female. They let women in male sports. The point is not women or not women. Its testosterone. Some people have a great deal of testosterone that allows them to grow large bones and strong muscles. And others have less. So we have events for those who grew up with less testosterone.
This women grew up with men’s testosterone no matter what you call her now. She has a Y chromosome. And that meant her cells were bathed in testosterone and therefore they grew big. So she should have to compete in men’s events. Its only fair. Whether she wins or loses the identity thing. She is wrong on the fairness thing. It’s like that 15 year old little leaguer who throws 85 mile an hour pitches at twelve year olds. Its just wrong.
Mia Hamm was asked if she could make the mens team. She answered by saying that the womens national soccer team practices against mens high school teams and loses. So the short answer is no. Women could not make a national mens team. But neither could 99% of men.
Your chromosomes say otherwise.

I would go with "You only compete in women's sports if you have standard XX chromosomes, otherwise you have to compete with the men".

Yeah - mine says I’m a month or so shy of 66 and have brown hair-—but you need to check my eyebrows for that because I have been shaving a sparse head of fuzz for decades.
