Moreover, the President is correct. When Illegal Invaders claim "asylum" - they always cite that they are "fearful" do to "crime" or "their government." Therefore, they can claim "asylum" in the first nation they set foot in. But they don't do that - because they want the massive welfare that the US provides.
Therefore, these people are:

What good will deploying troops to the border do? They may be armed but I guarantee you they won’t be carrying live ammo. One this hoard realizes that these troops are there just for show they will ignore them and simply walk by. To have any deterance effect att all our troops will have to make a stand along the river and not allow them to cross, use tear gas and other non lethal means to force them to turn away. Also, work with Mexican government, provide buses, trucks, whatever to transport them back to the southern Mexico border. Make it known that there will be no asylum for those who mange to evade ICE, troops, etc, and gain entry to the US. They will be hunted down and returned to their country of origin.

Our mistake is thinking Mexico could stop them. There are no men left in Mexico, only little girls.
If we want this to stop we need to do the following.
1. Pay no churches or NGOs to relocate refugees
2. Require proof of citizenship to receive welfare
3. SCOTUS said we have to educate them but didn’t say in the same schools, so teach them in schools that only speak their language and arrange to send them home or to another Spanish speaking country ASAP
4. Build refugee camps near the border where they are kept until they can be returned to the first country the passed through.
5. Fine anyone who employes anyone who is not a citizen or legal green card holder.

What a good idea. Should’ve been done 1/20/17. Cut it off to ALL people who want to cross. Not just invading “caravans”. Per the dictionary, these invaders aren’t a caravan, so people need to stop with that euphemism.

It must be met with military force.
We won't win future votes. This caravan will grow and, if successful, there will be many more. The Left has bought an invasion force. If 5,000 can get in why not 50,000 or multiples of that number. The country will be buried by human wave attacks.
There is not logical reason for our borders to remain open except that Washington wants it open.
Texans, we need to secede ASAP and secure our own damn border(s). I am damn tired of waiting on these dirt bags in Washington to do something.
