How is someone supposed to dress up like a black person unless they don blackface? Duh.

Riddle me this Batman: Why is it not offensive to allow Negroes to portray Alexander Hamilton and the founding fathers, yet whites are not allowed the same freedom to portray Negroes?.

A black Alexander Hamilton is mockery. That was the whole point of "Hamilton" to mock and delegitimize our foundations.

We threw out the negro label over half a century ago.

Well, we can have our own opinions, and I personally would agree with you, but I think “the history” makes it appear asymmetrical to the wider public. Ignore that at your own risk.
