There is a reason the originals ended:

Loss of interest caused low ratings and/or a lack of material.

Rebooting them may regenerate some short-term interest, but is usually short-lived.

All I needed to consider was that it had Jamie Foxx in it. Adios!

Fathom Events and TCM ran it for November.

It is worth checking to see if the event is on and in your area.

Sometime I will join backlot of TCM.

One of the few things I like about Christmas anymore.

For the most part, I gave up on Christmas years ago. Stress, misery, endless dumb events I had to sit through, and general depression.

I find it sad that I had to read replies way down until I read your contribution.
In just a few works, regarding “lack of creative people” you put the entire TRUTH in a mere few words.
Good going, darn it!!

I would watch reboot of Gilligan’s Island and Gunsmoke and Charlie’s Angels and some others as long as there were no SJW scripts and women are in bikini’s and shorts and revealing outfits. Like the old days....

...they are not creative people running the industry but political hack propagandists so can only use pre-existing vehicles to mold for their propaganda.

You're right - Hollywood doesn't have options in the matter. They lack the talent to do anything new - so they copy and feed-off creative people from the past - dead vehicles for their modern hatred... pathetic posers...
