Monica Lewinsky details the events leading up to her first intimate encounter with Bill Clinton in the A&E docuseries The Clinton Affair. It It happened on November 14, 1995, in the middle of the government shutdown when Lewinsky had been called in to help with the phones. On that date there had been a surprise party for one of Clinton's staffers, and at one point Lewinsky realized her thong was exposed while Clinton was near her in the room. Lewinsky opted to keep her thong out as Clinton walked by, and a short while later when she walked by his office, Clinton smiled at her and motioned for her to come into the room.

I can’t conceive of a girl being raised by her parents or the school environment to think of herself in that way. How utterly sad.
We used to want to accomplish something, make a difference in people’s lives or any of a number of ambitions but to “earn knee pads”. What a denouncement her raising; she was morally & spiritually bankrupt while living a middle class life.
The only thing that puts a break on sympathy for her is how very dangerous a person like that is to those she comes in contact with. Has she ever been a force for good or just wallowed in her self absorption?
Rimorel, her lack of character and morals in her 20’s are still as evident in her 40’s
You show her an empathy she lacked to exhibit for Hillary at the time.

I personally think Monica is bent, was bent and always will be bent to pursue wrong actions.......unless and until she seeks repentance and changes
But is publicity-hound shaming OK?
I don’t disagree. But the confluence of places and events didn’t give her a chance to get wisdom about it.
But there is always hope. Even later in life, people can change.

I used to feel sorry for Monica. She was only 21 and he was the most powerful man in the world. But if she had told the truth from the beginning, her life would have been very different. Telling the truth would have gained her a modicum of respect from many and yes scorn, from the other half. She was young and the Leftists pushed her to lie. Now, one of the more revealing statements of this affair came when Anita Hill was asked about Clinton. She was on the Today Show in 1998 and her response was ‘well, you really have to consider his voting record’. WHAT??? He can be excused because he is a LIB? And that attitude extends to today.

She is acting like she was the first young woman eager to climb the career ladder who thought to do this.

What has always amazed by about the whole Lewinsky story is how passive her parents were about the whole thing. I don’t remember any statements from them, I know they are strong Rat activists. Is that what being a Rat activist does to your thinking about your children. Allowing King Slick his “droit du seigneur” on your daughter. Yes she was older then 18 so she was of majority age to make stupid decisions. Again I don’t remember any comment from them. Their silence I guess means assent. I guess its all about the revolution!

I never thought she was unattractive...just wouldn’t want to in a relationship with her.
Would probably have creepy weird dreams about her and bill.
Not to mention I’d worry about getting an STD.
She never wanted her affair with Bubba to become public, much less the details. She got caught up in the Whitewater investigation when it morphed into an investigation of Paula Jones’s sexual harassment claims. Monica had nothing to do with Whitewater or Paula Jones, and the public had no need to know anything about her dealings with Bubba.
Stupid should hurt.
She didn’t do anything many Women do while Dating, but she picked the wrong Dude to do it with.
That being said, I lost all sympathy for her after her Father defended Clinton after what he put his Daughter through.

Bill Clinton was one swallow away from never being Impeached.
She had only one job to do and she blew it.
I recently met a very attractive young woman who had landed an internship in D.C.
I thought to myself “oh, honey, you’re in for the Harvey Weinstein treatment, times a thousand”.
