An econ prof, half the time I don’t know what he’s talking about.
But he has good sense that comes through.
I’ve seen him posted on FR a couple of times, but there is a YouTuber (also on other platforms) who calls himself Styxhexenhammer666. He’s a Libertarian who is definitely NOT a conservative or a Christian but he does show a fascinating grasp of national and international politics. You have to endure the foul mouth, but if that doesn’t upset you, he makes a number of predictions and analysis that are deeper than the typical political commentator and usually spot on. He screws up on info that is anything earlier than the 1970s but otherwise worth a listen.
