Once again thanks for the new thread. Thanks also for the informative posts near the end of the last thread. However, I just got’ta add I’m still chuckling inside.
President Trump successfully hammering Pelosi the way he did was above and beyond tremendous. She felt smug after the pres didn’t have a comeback for her co-equal garbage statement. Then she snubs him (to save her own skin) with the delay the SOTU comment, thinking she has the President cornered.
What happens? President Trump humiliates her to a degree she may never recover from politically. He shows the world the President Is the Commander in Chief,no co equals, and that her bluster about the shut down does affect some, namely subordinates. Making sure the world sees that Pelosi is especially subordinate to him.
Once in awhile I still have to chuckle out loud over this one. She isn’t on the same playing field as our President.
