I wish these greens would be more clear. If we pass the tipping point can we then blow off trying to do anything about “climate change” and just go back to normal? Who will declare the tipping point Al Gore?

Thanks for the graphs. Note the long time that it takes to build up the snow/ice thickness once it gets cooler in the fall compared to the rapid decrease once it gets warmer in the spring. I imagine the “scientists” will use that in some way some day.

“This year - a drastic melting occurred. In only two months, all the ice that had accumulated the previous year had disappeared! Vanished, along with the dreams of making the area a winter-wonderland refuge for polar bears and penguins.”

..resulting in a large net mass gain for the ice sheet in 2018 of 150 billion tons.

So, in other words, these "scientists" are Lying!

It is. I’ve found several different types. Used one to Calculate the G’s in that Limo wreck a while back.

And to think All the stuff I spent time building into Spreadsheets for the everyday number crunching at the Water Plant.

Oh well, I got paid for it.

And I’m sure your company wanted to verify the calculations were right. Not just some random internet site.

Water treatment or power plant?

Green Land

for a while, Greenland and Iceland switched. Green Land was green and habitable (dinosaurs?), Ice Land more like Norway, frozen and hostile to life. Then Green Land froze over and Ice Land defrosted. And they’re right next to each other. So maybe it has more to do with polar shifts, which are definitely out of our control.

Around 12,900 years ago....an ice-melt ‘event’ occurred and in some catastrophic way (we are talking about in days, not years or centuries)...the water level rose 300 feet, to where it stands today. Before scientists run off and get excited about 3 or 4 feet in a rise...they might want to survey what triggered the 300 foot rise.

The Pacific Ocean is getting colder. Hydro-Quebec has been calling upon it’s customers to cut consumption to avoid a black-out scenario in -50 Centigrade temperatures.

I used the Formulas that were displayed on the pages they made in ExCell and just printed out. Then all day/night long they would sit with a handheld calculator and run the numbers. Then enter by hand on the printed pages. I checked all that Myself, I’m sure they checked also but not till I had. When I was finished they were amazed at how much time was available to do “other” things around the place. With fully functional Spreadsheets all that had to happen was run the Tests to get the results and the Meter Readings then plug them into the Sheets and POOF!!! Life simplified. The toughest Test Sheet to make work was the Langiler Hardness Test because the End Data was not on a Sliding Scale but I got it figured out.

Surface Water Plant- 30 MGD Treated Production.

"So, in other words, these "scientists" are Lying!"

The scientists reported melting along the southwest coastal areas but gains over the northern and eastern zones yielding an overall net gain. The fake news NYT and others reported what was convenient to their agendas, leaving out what wasn't.
