Still no shutdown deal: House, Senate to vote on dueling border security proposals this week
Washington Examiner ^ | 2019-01-22 21:00 | Susan Ferrechio

The Republican-run Senate this week will call up President Trump’s proposal to end the government funding standoff with a deal trading border wall money for an extension of legal protections for Dreamers.

But Democrats who run the House have already rejected Trump’s plan, and will instead take up a series of border security measures and government funding legislation that don’t include any money for a border wall.

It is time to begin RIF. That will be a precursor to the fall of this year, when Congress fails again to issue a budget and tries for a CramUbus bill that will get vetoed, if presented. Expected an even bigger gov’t shutdown in the fall and another, bigger opportunity for RIF. This is an awesome opportunity to shake up our government. Certainly hope it is used to advantage.

The wall would become Trump's legacy......at home.

But I'm more concerned with NK.

The Senate bill damn well better contain permanent fixes for

1) eVerify
2) Chain migration termination
3) Birthright citizenship by Minor v Happersett (plural parents)
4) H1b visas terminated
5) The Wall

And add to this list every time the Dems balk again. Add things like a 10-year moratorium on new citizenship applications, require passing English language proficiency, requir bond if immigrant sponsor is an organization, denial of building mosques in the U.S., etc.

I suspect that the drug smuggling funds the democrat party. Likewise they need the illegal migrants to fill the illegal voter ranks.

If Pelosi and Schumer allow the wall to be finished (that means funded), it will end most of the illegal money that enables the democrat party.

I’ve been seeing so much RiF talk/assumptions; always fact check...

Federal statute requires agencies to take reduction-in-force (RiF) action against employees who have been furloughed for 30 days or more, but that only applies in administrative furloughs. Furloughs of federal workers as a result of lapses in appropriation are called “emergency furloughs.

According to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, reduction-in-force regulations don’t apply in such events:

“Reductions in force (RIF) furlough regulations and SES competitive furlough requirements are not applicable to emergency shutdown furloughs because the ultimate duration of an emergency shutdown furlough is unknown at the outset and is dependent entirely on Congressional action, rather than agency action. The RIF furlough regulations and SES competitive furlough requirements, on the other hand, contemplate planned, foreseeable, money-saving furloughs that, at the outset, are planned to exceed 30 days.”

The Dems want hordes coming in. So they not only don’t care if the hordes are not stopped, they don’t want them stopped. They want hordes, chaos, gov $ spent, drugs and slaves of various kinds pouring in. Helps destabilize and destroy the country, plus they get their $ from the cartels’ illegal businesses. They think that somehow or another when the dust of the anarchy and chaos and violence settles they’ll still remain on top.

I wonder how common it is for an illegal border crosser to be armed with any sort of weapon?

When we are dealing with a no brainer issue like this, and literally half the population supports open borders and no immigration laws, one must conclude that the Republic is lost.

Nice list.

I fully expect President Trump to start making the deal worse for the RATS with each iteration.
