Ezra Levant of The Rebel.media reports on Donald Trump singing an executive order strengthening Buy American requirements for US infrastructure projects.
Great News !!!
A road builder I dealt with was bought out a few years ago by the Hosers, eh. I quit dealing with them.
I quit buying Bobcat skidloaders and equipment when they were bought out by the South Koreans.
It’s how I roll. Trump is just following my lead.
So, justine trueDOH was speechless? Who knew?
He wasn’t wearing his ear piece, where he receives his marching orders.
Does he have a good singing voice?
The world waits breathlessly for an official response from his left eyebrow!
Canada with trudeau in charge is no longer a friend to the US. Vote him out, Canada.
JoMa
He just sat there and took the news like a good boy.
I think it’s on the floor by the register.
Probably not on par with obxxx and his singing career. :-)
That picture makes me embarrassed to share a common border with him.
Is there any proof zhe’s a boy?
My first thought, too. LOL...
Cue laughing Putin pic...
Caught that did you?
Heh heh.
That is fine because it is your choice.
However, requiring infrastructure components be only made in the US inherently causes the costs of materials and costs of construction to go up. Being a commercial developer Trump knows this.
Many construction items being used throughout the US are made in Canada.
This is similar to lumber, plywood, osb that was used in Iraq, Afghanistan by the military had to come from a source with a US grade stamp. So, all the European lumber mills got grade stamps from the WCLIB( West Coast Lumber Inspection Bureau). In addition the vendors selling to the government established corporations with female minority owners in name only. This checks all the government boxes. Woman owned minority company selling US grade stamped lumber.
So, from my personal experience. This made the lumber more expensive than just ordering it from any contractor supplying product subject to US lumber standards. If Trump was building one of his hotels, that is what he would do.
What do you think prevailing wage might do?
I would not have supported doing this...not with Canada...
except their current Prime Minister is such a disappointment (notice how tactfully expressed that is!).....
forcing the job to use us companies also forces the manufacturing base to be in this country....truth is that importation makes money for everyone but the working class. the ability to import can help with costs but we must ask our selves how is the importing of goods and services impacting the country past the initial project.
