What fame, ego stroking, or money is to be gained by being truly anonymous? What is their motivation?
To strip away ego, race, religion, and political identity from a free exchange of ideas so that the fittest of ideas can be evaluated without the influence of personalities?
People might have to learn how to think for themselves instead of following someone who looks good, smells good, and with smooth or funny words that tickles their ears.
Some say the President of the United States, or at the very least, some members of the Q Team, at times post anonymously among the Anonymous at “that place”, and only there. Or do they?
It was and is their choice.
If FR posters were suddenly required to remain truly anonymous, how many would receive satisfaction enough from doing so, and would they continue posting at the new return rate?
In 2017 it was estimated on average that approximately 100 babies an hour were being butchered in the US.

FR is the premier 'conservative' site, and as such is subject to unrelenting attacks in many forms from the derpstate. JR has had to jump through a lot of hoops to keep the site up, so in keeping the ability to communicate to those who would never travel outside their safe space is IMO important.
Therefore, I try to follow the guidelines loosely so as not to trigger those (and lurkers) who don't want the full dose. It's a hard line to define, and a few have become frustrated and left the thread. Everyone's loss.
What I don't understand is the passive-aggressive animosity from some FReepers toward the chans, without them there would be no Q. Food for thought, we need to keep the goal of the plan in mind, and live WWG1WGA.

You just triggered a recollection from a long ago seminar I attended by Watts Wacker (Co-author of "The 500 Year Delta" with Jim Taylor). He had a lot of interesting things to say about the future and he was right about most of them, but the one that just popped up for me is this:
Everyone will be famous and the most sought after commodity will be anonymity.
This was in the late nineties. We had cell phones, but they did not have cameras. The internet was new and most people did not have access at all, let alone the ability to live stream a video.
I'm not sure exactly who wrote the post, but it surely echoes Enigo?? sentiments, doesn't it?

Welp, I've read this carp all weekend and finally decided what I wanted to say about all this "Oh, I'm anon at 8chan, and they are SO cool, cos everyone is bloody brilliant and no one takes credit for anything because being Anonymous is quite close to being God or Superman or some great being!" To which I say (Floyd R. Turbo coming up) "If you think it is so great to be anon, go to 8chan and be anon!! No one is stopping you, no one has glued your boots to the FR floor. So go on, git! Take your fake humility (which totally comes off as "I am a martyr because my giant brain has come up with all these wonderful ideas, and I'm so humble I don't take credit for them, and why doesn't anybody like me?") and hit the road.
I'm tired of being berated because we have personalities. Some posters we like and agree with. Some are almost always good for a laugh. And some just get an automatic scroll.
Stop beating us up because we are a group of individuals, each with our own opinions and preferences.
If you (the general you) think your posts are fantastic, yet you're not getting the adoration you think is your due...well, buckle up, buttercup. It's a mean ol world, and just cos the board is Free Republic, that doesn't mean that every one is here to cater to your wishes. If you want to be a nameless giant brain, go for it. But do not expect me to go all gah-gah cos you're (again, the general you) so smart....and a little aside? I give much credit to people who are not afraid to have others know who they are. If you are sure of your work and opinions, sure enough to post them for group scrutiny, then be brave and man or woman enough to post your darn name.
If you are posting scientific or math-related info that can't be questioned, it's a fact, then there's no need for a name. All other topics can and will have spin applied by their authors...so yes, those writings are personal...the writer's personality will shine through. There is a heavy personality influence on our writings. Finally, 1/2ast, this is not directed at you at all. But, some others come off as saying "I wanna be as popular as X! Why doesn't everyone fawn over me and tell me how great I am?" Really?! We are not in 3rd grade.
