A blast from the past. I had forgotten this series even existed. It was so campy, it was cool.

Space 1999 was the coolest show back in the day....remember it well.

I love the DeLorean-esque cars they had in the futuristic world of 1980.

All of the actors on actresses on the show were exceptionally good looking, except for the creepy doctor and old general.

One of my favorites from that era. I found it a few years ago and watched some shows. It was cool.

I remember The Invaders, if I remember correctly, it came on Thursday night. One of my favorite shows as a kid.

I built a couple of Eagle models. Got some custom decals so they didn't look like store bought standard toys.
I also have a Moonbase Alpha patch somewhere.
Barry Gray did some kickass music.

I have that (and the blu-rays of UFO) and I think she’s sexier WITH clothes.
Maybe that’s because, naked, I keep having these weird visions of Nick Drake with breasts... LOL.
Anyway (ahem) UFO is a lot of fun. Some great episodes in there, and the writers weren’t afraid of taking chances (particularly near the end of the series).

Remember how the ‘Invaders’ always had their little pinky finger sticking out when they picked up a glass or cup?

“You-Eff-Ohh spotted...” Oh Yeah-a classic TV show growing up.With Gerry Andersons Spacecraft/aircraft models and Strakers turbine car-whats not to like?
And do you remember ‘Captain Scarlet’-[..and the Mysterons]?
Anderson did all of the Models for that also. The Moon base interceptors were reworked from the Capt. Scarlet ‘Angel’ interceptors. The time before CGI...

Yes, I remember that, do you remember the device that the invaders put to peoples necks to subdue them?

Straker was one lucky SOB to get the SHADO commander assignment... especially during the Carter administration.
