Jeff Sessions’ Letter Shows DOJ Followed Trump’s Demand To Investigate Hillary Clinton
Inquistr ^

In a letter released to the public for the first time, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been found ordering U.S. Attorney for Utah John Huber to investigate Hillary Clinton, according to watchdog group American Oversight.

The watchdog got hold of the letter after filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation. The letter’s existence, which was written in November 2017, was denied a year later in response to American Oversight’s litigation. The Justice Department maintained that Sessions didn’t direct Huber in writing and that any order was passed verbally.

In a letter released to the public for the first time, former Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been found ordering U.S. Attorney for Utah John Huber to investigate Hillary Clinton, according to watchdog group American Oversight.

Since before the 2016 presidential elections, Donald Trump has repeatedly called for the DOJ to investigate Hillary Clinton. He often invoked the infamous “Lock her up” chant at rallies in front of his supporters — and continued his calls for prosecuting Clinton even after becoming president.

Austin Evers, American Oversight executive director, said the letter is proof that Sessions followed Trump’s arbitrary and “authoritarian” demands.

“‘Lock her up’ was wrong at campaign rallies, and it’s even worse coming from the Department of Justice. Even after this long, it’s still deeply shocking to see the black-and-white proof that Jeff Sessions caved to President Trump’s worst authoritarian impulses and ordered a wide-ranging investigation of his political opponents based on demands from Congress instead of the facts and the law.”

How peculiar that you keep avoiding this part of my reply from whence my query came.

Turley said that by having Huber work with the Department of Justice, the administration is combining all the work of the DOJ inspector general and previous investigations, with an active prosecutor who can quickly bring charges, seek indictments, and get results for President Trump -- far more quickly than a second special counsel could. Many Republican lawmakers have called for a second special counsel to investigate concerns about the Mueller probe with regard to FISA abuse and the Steele dossier, but Turley argues that this method will bring faster results.

One might begin to think it's another instance of your "won't, not can't" antics.

“....with an active prosecutor who can quickly bring charges...”

How many quick charges and convictions to date?

List the persons convicted.

Turley is the same one who said Mueller is a “healthy dose of Tylenol” .

Mark Levin said Mueller is a “Rogue Prosecutor”.

Turley is the same one who said Mueller is a “healthy dose of Tylenol” .

Mark Levin said Mueller is a “Rogue Prosecutor”.
Prof. Turley: Mueller Probe Is a 'Healthy Dose of Tylenol' to Bring Fever Down
George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley said former FBI Director Robert Mueller being named special counsel in the Trump-Russia probe is a "healthy dose of Tylenol" for the country.
The constitutional scholar said the appointment of Mueller to lead the investigation will "bring this fever down," but also cautioned it will "prolong the sickness" by potentially taking years to reach a conclusion.

Levin: Mueller Is a 'Rogue Prosecutor' and Trump Should Not Speak to Him
Mark Levin said Thursday that President Trump should not agree to be interviewed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
He called Mueller a "rogue prosecutor" who is not actually investigating any "underlying crime."
"When he got his appointment, the deputy attorney general did not provide any basis for the appointment. That is, he didn't say 'these are the criminal statutes I want you to investigate,' because there aren't any," Levin explained on Hannity.

You sure did leave out (omit) some relevant parts.

LOL

Only a mental defective Qtard would try imply both are on the same page and in direct agreement.
LOL

Consistently wrong Qtard. As wrong as trying to argue U.S. Attorney`s regularly indict persons outside of their District. If that were normal as Qtards attempt to insist then L Linn Wood should have filed in the 8th N.Dist in Cedar Rapid,Iowa.

Provide docket evidence US Attorney Huber indicts outside of his District regularly.

Provide evidence pizza gate is factual.

Provide evidence POTUS has missiles shot at him.

Huber didn't do squat. How do I know that? Because the IT guy that destroyed evidence under subpoena and lied about it to the FBI is still walking around a free man. When low hanging fruit like get's a pass you know the fix is in.

There is a reason the first thing Trump did after the mid-terms is fire Sessions. Session was/is a coward.

All I did was put up the full context of their comments instead of the snippets you provided.

You're simply making an assertion, nothing more.

...trying to argue U.S. Attorney`s regularly indict persons outside of their District.

A grand jury indicts and a U.S. Attorney prosecutes based upon their indictment.

9-2.000 - Authority Of The U.S. Attorney In Criminal Division Matters/Prior Approvals
9-2.030 - Authorizing Prosecution
The United States Attorney is authorized to initiate prosecution by filing a complaint, requesting an indictment from the grand jury, and when permitted by law, by filing an information in any case which, in his or her judgment, warrants such action, other than those instances enumerated in JM 9-2.120.

As you can see, a United States Attorney, outside of a grand jury, starts the process by first filing a complaint.

I believe you blurred the lines there a little bit.

...trying to argue U.S. Attorney`s regularly indict persons outside of their District.

Just in case you take exception to the "Criminal Division" aspect...

Types of Juries
Grand Jury
A grand jury is presented with evidence from the U.S. attorney, the prosecutor in federal criminal cases. The grand jury determines whether there is “probable cause” to believe the individual has committed a crime and should be put on trial. If the grand jury determines there is enough evidence, an indictment will be issued against the defendant.

Once again, a U.S. attorney doesn't indict anybody, a grand jury does that.

Distinction without difference.

Indictments are initiated by United States Attorney. Period.End of story.

You just contradicted Turley, “....with an active prosecutor who can quickly bring CHARGES...”

LOL BU-WA-HA -HAAA

Only a Qtard with a fevered deluded mind who believes POTUS sends them breadcrumb messages on a pornchan site.

LOL

Trying to imply Turley and Levin are on the same page is akin to believing missiles are being shot at POTUS and he sends devoted followers messages via a pornchan site.

Levin, “Mueller appointment is a violation of the Appointments Clause”

Turley has never concurred and in fact regards the appointment as a good “healthy dose of Tylenol”

LOL And POTUS exposed pizza gate to Qtards on a chanporn site. Yes,it`s true/sarc off

LOL

Provide docket evidence US Attorney Huber indicts aka “quickly brings charges”, outside of his District regularly.

Provide evidence grand juries are in place and the regular suspects have been subpoenaed , Strozk,Page,Brennan,Clapper,Lynch,McCabe,Rosenstein,Comey, etc.

Provide evidence pizza gate is factual.

Provide evidence POTUS has missiles shot at him

...the administration is combining all the work of the DOJ inspector general and previous investigations, with an active prosecutor who can quickly bring charges, seek indictments, and get results for President Trump -- far more quickly than a second special counsel could.

How about you provide evidence that Huber can't bring charges.

How about you provide evidence that Huber can't seek indictments.

How about you provide evidence that Huber can't empanel a grand jury .

And as far as your bugaboo about how fast or how slow things are happening...how long has Mueller taken to draw his investigation to a close? Oh, what's that? He hasn't closed it yet?

Time will tell how long it takes Huber to progress. But you want it to happen now, don't you.
How long has Mueller been investigating POTUS.
665 and counting.
Wouldn't it be humorous if he announced the end tomorrow...666 days. Now where have I seen the number 666 before? Talk about a twist. Imagine the conspiracy thinking that will come out of that.

Compare that with how long has Huber been on the job?
Be patient, you'll get your answers.
You wouldn't want somebody getting away with a crime from a shoddily conducted investigation, do you?

“How long has Mueller been investigating POTUS.
665 and counting.
Wouldn’t it be humorous if he announced the end tomorrow...666 days”

And pizza gate is a real thing as are missiles being shot at POTUS.

You just contradicted Turley and I when we spoke in shorthand., “....with an active prosecutor who can quickly bring CHARGES...”
In your fevered state you desperately searched the inter web and thought you had an ‘ A-ha!’ moment.
Your first mistake but normal for a Qtard not to comprehend speaking in shorthand when one believes POTUS sends messages originating from a pornchan site.
The second mistake was posting it in desperation without pondering whether it was accurate.

ONCA AGAIN,

Provide docket evidence US Attorney Huber indicts aka “quickly brings charges”, outside of his District regularly.

Provide evidence grand juries are in place and the regular suspects have been subpoenaed , Strozk,Page,Brennan,Clapper,Lynch,McCabe,Rosenstein,Comey, etc.

Provide evidence pizza gate is factual.

Provide evidence POTUS has missiles shot at him. Provide affidavits from the owner of the time lapse camera stating it was a missile.Provide evidence from flight radars.

Once again...
How about you provide evidence that Huber can't bring charges.
How about you provide evidence that Huber can't seek indictments.
How about you provide evidence that Huber can't empanel a grand jury.

Two can play that game.

And pizza gate is a real thing as are missiles being shot at POTUS.
Mueller, the Deep State and some History

Opinion: Why The Term 'Deep State' Speaks To Conspiracy Theorists
It's an elastic label — depending on the occasion, it can encompass the Justice Department, the intelligence communities, the FISA courts, the Democrats and the media. In short, it's a cabal of unelected leftist officials lodged deep in the government who are conspiring to thwart the administration's policies, discredit its supporters and ultimately even overturn Trump's election.

Some might call you a conspiracy theorist because of your belief in the Deep State. You even imply that art and real life are synonymous.
Are you a conspiracy theorist?
What makes you believe there is a "Deep State"?
From whence did your belief in a purported "Deep State" originate?

Are you a KOOK? Should I deride and ridicule you for believing such a preposterous thing?
