Yes, it is consequence of womanhood that you may choose to be the host of another human, the little human in the womb. If abortion laws bug you, then don’t create another little human in the womb, a little human you have the moral and natural responsibility to care for every bit as much as you would care for yourself.

There used to be a lot of social pressure for women to ‘hide their crazy’. I’m dating an incredibly level-headed woman right now, and we discussed this. She can’t believe it.
She, and actually my ex, both agree there is a significant amount of crazy in every woman. The extent to which an individual checks that crazy differs. My ex’s crazy erupted like a festering boil when she turned 50. Everyone was in the splash zone, unfortunately, and she wrecked the family in the process.
Her entire department (a teacher, which contributed to the crazy level) was all female once, and she was the department head. She once allowed that she needed one, just one, man in the department as a control rod for the estrogen reactor, which was always drifting beyond critical. The metaphor was mine, and apt. I still use it.
