Here’s a long-ish article from 2015 that details some of the earlier charges against the NXIVM cult that never really seemed to go anywhere.
As promised yesterday, this is the one that ties the cult to hacking Edgar Bronfman’s computer on which he was exchanging emails with hillary and other world leaders.

Ms Keefe has basically gone into hiding. She was a member who claims she started having second thoughts after a while and began spying on the cult. She claims she fled with a trove of documents showing illegal activities.
Some argue that Keefe was simply smart enough to get out while the getting was good. I’m inclined to believe the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I do think the evidence she has would be of high interest to prosecutors.

One item that has disappeared (for now?) is former NY AG Schneidermann began an investigation into the NXIVM cult and some of their activities and members.
I’m pretty sure it was going to be covered up by Schneidermann, but we’ll never know since he resigned for beating, strangling and raping women before it was concluded.
One case he ‘suspended’ due to an ongoing Federal investigation was into one Dr. Brandon Porter, and internal medicine specialist.
Dr. Porter was accused by former NXIVM members of conducting illegal human experiments. Specifically, he was conducting “fright experiments” on women. Showing unsuspecting ‘patients’ violent videos and then recording their reactions.

Now, Schneidermann had numerous opportunities to investigate the cult and always found a reason not to. The audience may discern whatever motivation drove that.
