Police arrested Ezekiel Hicks, 25, on murder charges early Sunday in the death of 41-year-old Craig Brewer, who was shot and killed at a Waffle House, in Gainesville, Florida, just a few miles west of the University of Florida.
Officials with the Alachua County Sheriff's Office said the restaurant's surveillance camera captured an altercation between the two on video. Witnesses said the victim was arguing with a female acquaintance of the suspect, who was reportedly upset because Brewer's generosity didn't include her.
I will have to double-check. I don’t recall seeing the required signs on Florida waffle houses I visited.

Yet to be determined. Perhaps he got the gun to defend himself. Perhaps the man threatened him or punched him and fearing for his life he stood his ground and shot him.

Guy was probably just trying to give back to his community, but a Waffle House is the last place I’d pick if I had a lot of spare dough that I wanted to use to treat a bunch of random people to dinner. I’m not at all surprised that those in attendance couldn’t just enjoy the gift for what it was and a huge crowd showed up expecting freebies.

The student ghetto across from University is fine. Hell, The areas across from 13th street is fine. I couldn’t say about Archer Road. I didn’t spend much time on that side of campus.
The bad part of town is East Gainesville. The West out by 441 has the Oaks Mall and most of the nicer apartment complexes out there and is generally nice.
Nothing less. And should not be given a chance to plea down to anything to avoid a needle in his arm.
Eventually, these people will have to go back. I don’t care if they’ve been here for hundreds of years. They will still need to go back.
Depends on where you go. There are 4 in the area where I live and I’m sure you’d feel quite comfortable in any of them.
Well, the Democrat/Left sure thinks Sanger was right — the only conclusion to arrive at from the Left’s enthusiastic support of uncontrolled abortion as a means to control the negro population, clearly one of Sanger’s primary objectives.
