John Belushi was loved and should still be with us. DeNiro, conversely, should’ve been devoured completely by his own hate.
Some can handle having money — others cannot.
What could possibly be more boring and squalid than to hang out, party, and set off on some sort of spree with a guy who’s trashed with heroin and cocaine?
I love how the media tries to paint Cathy Smith groupie to
Gordon Lightfoot
Ron Wood and Keith Richards
The Bands Rick Danko, Levin Helm and Richard Manuel
As the villain
Belishi and his cohorts would have gotten their cocaine and H from someone if not her
Like the stars are somehow above it all
DeNiro and Harry Dean Stanton were serious bad boys back then
Some would say that when you see a friend in a trashed out state you’d try to intervene on his behalf and not enable him by each doing lines with him at separate parts of the night he overdosed.
Belushi obviously was killing himself. His “friends” seemed fine with that.
How I envy the lifestyles of the rich and famous. /s
And this guy has the nerve to say anything about our President?
In the end, no one could save John Belushi from himself. They all indulged him instead.
So De Niro just slinked away from the scene and the situation scot free? Wow
He also liked (and still likes) underage girls.
This is life for these creeps: flying around the country “looking into projects,” sliming through bars and nightclubs hustling women (or men), sleazing back to their palatial digs at all hours to get even drunker and more wasted ...
A tableau of complete, non-stop debauchery.
And we’re supposed to listen to the scumbuckets advising us on MORAL matters???? Why not just get the advice direct from Satan and cut out the middleman?
The average poor person would be dead in a year if you handed them a million dollars.
[That sordid spectacle didn’t stop De Niro, who was using cocaine himself in those days,]
Now it all makes sense. De Niro was a cokehead. Like Jeb Bush.
I think Robin Williams was with belushi two hours before he died and also the woman who provided the coke, a brunette as I recall.
