Burgermeister Meisterburger Nadless and his committee just got their way in finding AG Barr in contempt it looks like. I guess it’s not like we didn’t expect them to do this in sheer panic and desperation.

So?
I want them to find me in contempt too.

I agree, was just letting LJ know since she wasn’t watching the proceedings. The chat section was about 90% of the postings, the folks knew this was a sham.

And I also wanted to "Breitbart" the bastids.

Little J called me a “sub-Oracle”!
Sub!
Can you believe that?
I thought my NXIVM updates are more of a ‘special feature’...

Awesome to see you back posting.
During your hearings, don’t forget to remind them some of their words from this hearing like “follow the rule of law”, “no one is above the law”, “it’s our Constitutional duty”, when it’s THEIR turn to face justice and Bagster the Magnificent!

Feature - much better word. Maybe special insert.
I gotta admit, it's hella funny to see the derps thrash about with their petty little contempt charges and bald-face lies, knowing that the grown-ups are at the copy machine running off IG reports and DECLAS paperworks.
I hope everybody sees the humor in this.

Trump Off 2020 Ballot: Democrats in 17 States Demand Tax Returns...or Else
[texokie: How interesting that it is actually 17 states attempting this!]

Legislation in 17 states would remove President Donald Trump from the 2020 presidential election ballot if he doesn’t release his tax returns. Trump has said his IRS returns are perfectly legal and his finances excellent, so why shouldn’t the president just release the documents to make the issue go away, and to shut up the Democrats? But if the Constitution has only two requirements for presidential eligibility age and ‘natural born’ citizenship can states really add another?...”
Texokie notes on the clip:
Bill and another guy (Scott?) are engaged in an interesting dialog/debate about this topic: Should the POTUS release the tax returns?
The removal from the ballots is supposedly hinging on the idea that POTUS Trump has not released his tax returns.
Presidents are not required to turn in tax returns. Bear in mind that when the Constution was written, there was no IRS/Income tax, and hence no situation exists in the original Constitution where there are tax returns and tax return records. The requirement is not made of presidents and representatives because there was no such thing as a tax return when the Constitution was written.
There is brief discussion of it being unconstitutional for a state to remove a candidate from the ballot.
Noted is that the democrat hollering and actions such as ballot name removal is the foot stomping of a child who is being dragged out of the store without the toy.
They know it is not Constitutional, and if Trump is not legally required to turn over his tax returns, then this thing will explode in their faces as usual. It will highlight to the American public that the democrats have no other agenda than to STOP PRESIDENT TRUMP.
Trump had said that he would release his tax returns at some point around the time Jim Comey said to him that he was not under investigation.
Noted is the fact that Presidents have released their returns as a courtesy, not because it was a requirement. This was happening during the times that the FBI was indeed an independent agency. This guy makes the case that no President should ever release their tax returns again. It is a courtesy and practice that has expired because of the blowing up of that courtesy by the demands for that which is not required. He likens it to Harry Reid blowing up the filibuster senate rule with the nuclear option. That courtesy is gone now.
Discussion back and forth as to why a Prez should release tax returns and why not. The discussion meandered into a discussion about Obamas turning over birth certificate - One of the guys maintains that it is a completely different thing; the need to establish the eligibility of the candidate as per the requirements of the Constitution; not as the invasion of privacy which turning over the tax returns would be. The way a public vets someone to see if they handle money appropriately is to do the criminal background check.
A point has been made that during the Obama Administration the IRS had been weaponized against the American People . Another reason not to release the tax returns.
The Seattle representative [I could not discern if this was a federal rep or a state rep I think state rep] of one of richest districts which houses Bill Gates, has also refused to turn over her tax returns. No, she is not required to do so . But she is demanding that Trump do so.
Topic of the Jim Comey 45 minute Hillary indictment in which it was concluded that no reasonable prosecutor would pursue the case, came up.
In such a climate as we live in today, he uses the analogy of how soldiers who are willing to help wounded enemy combatants by sending our medics to help, are discouraged from doing so once the pattern is perceived that the wounded enemy combatants are prone to blowing up themselves and the medics with a hand grenade. In like measure, why would the POTUS intentionally be courteous and release that data about himself, when it will be treated as a loaded weapon against him?
I do not recall seeing Bill Whittle before, but at this time, I am inclined to report that I would listen to him again.
Iran deal crumbling. (not that they were abiding by the deal in the first place)

Thanks for that tidbit, GEN!
Wasn't there speculation that it had a tie-in with possible tribunal proceedings?
The sheeple believe it when they see it on the TV, right? I firmly believe some of the trials will be televised. The timing and relaunch is not a coincidence.
Tribunals are another thing entirely. When Classified info is used in prosecution, we won't see them on Court TV.
Bill Whittle's a pretty good egg, and sharp, if I recall correctly.
:-D GMTA!
Thanks for the synopsis; Iran gonna be in a world of hurt...

My pleasure!.... it will be interesting to see events unfold.
Since there is no constitutional requirement for a Presidential candidate to release tax returns these 17 states have built their case on very weak ground and it would be a shame if the Supreme Court ruled their electors are invalid.
