In my perusals today, I ran across something the military prosecutor said at the sentencing of Army Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hassan, who awaits execution on death row at Fort Leavenworth.

Perhaps not, but the biggest city in the country is naming streets for him, just this week.

I don't think his followers will quietly accept his downfall, no matter the circumstances or evidence presented. I think there is certain to be some violence no matter how this is handled.

We can debate this until the cows come home but, in the end, the President will decide what is best for the United States. I think he'll try to avoid burning it down.
