I remember him saying it. I also remember looking at my husband and saying "he does know Lincoln was a a Republican? The founding member of the party no less".
I think the Internet has been the down fall of many. Gives us a chance to connect with other Conservatives and preserve all their shenanigans!
He launched his campaign in Springfield, Land of Lincoln. I guess he spent a lot of time downstate from being a legislature down there. But of course he was Chicago mob through and through. Funny. The battle between him and Hillary has been apparently about who would control the Chicago mob. So weird that you can trace this mess all the way back to Al Capone.
