'Clare Bear' Bronfman put some millions into a trust to pay for all the defendants' legal fees, including Raniere. The judge was concerned enough a few weeks ago to order the trust numbers be shown to him, and it was apparently drying up at a fast rate.
With only Raniere left on trial, maybe there's a little more to go around? The only thing left for the others is representation during their respective sentencing.
