Jeffrey Epstein case in US District Court. If the non-prosecution agreement gets voided, Jeffrey goes back to court on the original charges.

Background - The original prosecutors worked out a deal with Epstein that pretty much let him off the hook. The deal violated Florida laws that require victims be notified in advance of potential deals with sex offenders. Judge Kenneth Marra will decide whether to toss the agreement and re-try Epstein, or rule the agreement is valid. Marra is a Bush 43 appointee.

Federal prosecutors said Friday they want to meet with once-underage victims of wealthy financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein before deciding whether to throw out a decade-old non-prosecution agreement that allowed him to avoid potentially severe penalties.

who was the DOJ prosecutor that wrapped up the decade-old non-prosecution agreement for Epstein anyway?

was it alex acosta?? currently w/ labor dept?
