Pilot Atilla Senturk, whose phone footage of the object can be viewed in the video below, described it as an "incredibly bright celestial body at high altitude."
... "It was not a satellite or a star. Then it disappeared at an incredible speed. [It] was very close to us and very bright despite the sun."
"Cabin supervisor Efsun Selin Sezer and First Officer Ozgur Erdas were [also] witnesses."
While the video is difficult to make out, it certainly seems to show something in the sky nearby.

The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and refracted the light from Venus.

They are definitely UFOs; that is, I cannot identify them.
Are they piloted by aliens from another dimension/galaxy/planet/solar-system/heaven/hell?
I hope so. It would be comforting to know that someone intelligent is at least keeping an eye on us!
Look carefully. If you copy it and blow it up in photoshop, you can see a green pixel on the upper left side of the white dot that looks like the head of a martian poking out of his space ship.
I don’t think this solves the UFO mystery, but it might clear up the cause of those recent overseas plane crashes.
A highly relective balloon which burst and disappeared. Definitely an unidentified object. Of course it is filled with highly intelligent beings from a world different from ours...it is obvious....invite them to dinner..
