That IS a very interesting read, AzNASCARfan! I recalled discussion of that horrible crash at the time it happened.
ARTICLE COPYING DISABLED - article speaks of the attempted assassination attempt in which Putin’s driver lost his life. It is a thought-provoking article.

Apparently this occurred back in Sept 2016. I am unaware of recent attempts, so it would seem that Putin’s security team has been quite vigilant for past 3 years....or they have kept a lid on it in addition to being very vigilant.
