Teegarden’s star

Thank goodness it wasn’t Soundgarden’s star.

Twelve light-years? That’s all? Why haven’t we organized a weekend excursion there yet? They’ve had liquid water longer than the sun’s been around. If intelligent life hasn’t yet evolved, it’s time to put evolution to rest.

“...a nearby star”

Come on, man!...Even the sun is not a nearby star. It’s a long, long way from home.

“so life as we know it has had more than enough time to evolve”

Right..... Evolution is absolute nonsense. As if given enough time....anything and everything can happen.

Explain to me how the eye of a fly “evolved.

That means any planets orbiting it are presumably as ancient, so life as we know it has had more than enough time to evolve.

“Scientists” have never been able to explain how the first living organism “evolved”. They skip that issue in modern evolution classes and just teach that since there is life, then life must have evolved. They can’t get to first base so they start at third.

Those are dung beetles orbiting Nadler's head.

That might have actually been funny if Nads hadn't lost so much weight.

I’m getting tired of these fake news articles promoting every hunk of rock orbiting a star as a “life-friendly planet.”

The alleged “life-friendly” planets are about 1.1 times the mass of the earth. The star is an infrared-emitting ultra-cool M dwarf with about 9% of the Sun’s mass. That means the planets have to be so close to the dwarf star they are tidally locked (one side of each planet is permanently facing away from the star). The planets are as likely “life friendly” as Planned Parenthood is to unborn children.

A lot of factors against life as we know it within the solar system of a red dwarf.

“Just hope they don’t have global warming there.”

No matter what climate they have it’ll be labeled ‘catastrophic’ and the only solution to the non-problem will be the immediate enforcement of global socialism on earth.

One planet is Republican and the other one is Democrat. That’s why they have survived for 8 billion years.
