It does say that he was shooting trying to scare her. I think that if she’s not scared after the first two, the last 37 are a complete waste in that department.

family’s first night in their brand new home.... We just moved into a mountain home, just 6 months ago, up from my childhood home in Littleton, CO. The unknowns caused some normal apprehensions but this poor family lived my ultimate nightmare! Ugh.
