Very true. I just know how long it takes me to fire 39 rounds at the range. He had to reload at least twice. At some point a crazed and dangerous attacker is worth less than 39 holes in my walls, especially when they keep on coming. I suppose on some level I applaud his restraint, since it didn’t get anyone killed or seriously hurt. Why have the gun if you are going to have to choke them out anyway? Oh, well, crazy news story. I’m amazed it isn’t from Florida.

well, this certainly doesn’t sound like the Chesterfield, VA I grew up in...... holy crap. In 1960 that place was straight out of “Andy of Mayberry”.
Drug use opens a person to demonic possession. Many of these demons are violent and then seek to kill or hurt other people.

Could be. Don’t have experience with it. When they mentioned the “strength of four men” , that’s what lead me to think PCP. I have seen folks on that, scary.
I’m not particularly religious... or maybe more accurately, I have some serious philosophical issues with Christianity and I could be considered to be “in between” belief systems at the moment, but I spent my teenage years living on indian reservation and can tell you many, if not most, members of the tribe, myself included, have seen demons in our homes. I half jokingly tell my friends that I have my doubts about God (I’m a theist, but not an active particpant in any particular religion), but I have no doubt about the existence of evil or demons, because I’ve looked one in the eye.
Yeah, shoot to kill and wind up in prison for life. Good idea.
That is a possibility, but my impression is that bath salts make you crazier. Or could have been a meth binge gone very wrong.
What that woman did would allow any home owner to use lethal force to stop her and many such cases are reported here every week.

During the peak of its popularity, CBS ran reruns of the show during the day,
renaming them, “Andy of Mayberry” to avoid confusion with the prime time
episodes. When the show concluded its run, all episodes were changed back
to “The Andy Griffith Show.”
Some type of heavy duty narcotic.
Nothing supernatural about it.
Man, dad is going to get some razzing about this for awhile. And every July 4th for the rest of his life.
I’m glad nobody in his family was hurt.
