I got to know a young woman in the 90s who was a victim of Satanic Ritual Abuse. She had multiple personality disorder and I spent a weekend with her meeting a bunch of her "alters". I was convinced of the reality of her disorder when I watched her eyes change color with a different "person"! BTW.... a number of her own family didn't believe her.

MPD is very real. I have a friend who as a forensic psychologist has interviewed about 100 cases--all of whom experienced horrendous sexual and other abuse by the age of 5. (These were children of a polygamous cult.)

It is such a shame when people close their eyes to the abuse, or fail to believe the children.

There is a dark side to this world we live in that most of us can scarcely imagine.
