They’re at it again. A slew of A-list celebrities have flocked to Sicily, Italy on private jets and massive yachts to discuss the woes of global warming caused, they say, but things like private jets and massive yachts. The founders of Google invited a a throng of the rich and famous, including former President Barack Obama, Prince Harry, actor Leonardo DiCaprio and singer Katy Perry for a huge party they’ve dubbed Google Camp. “The three-day event will focus on fighting climate change — though it’s unknown how much time the attendees will spend discussing their own effect on the environment, such as the scores of private jets they arrived in and the mega yachts many have been staying on,” reports the New York Post.

Yep. I have a relative on Sicily right now, and I’m told that Mt. Etna is spewing a metric butte-tonne of CO2, ash and lava into the air.
I hope these jet-setting (b)millionairea are able to tackle that issue and get that volcano to settle down. Our very existence depends upon their success!

I always wonder why these wealthy elite fly to these events? For the most part it’s not like they have to be at the office on Monday for their job. Why don’t they book the Queen Mary transatlantic cruise from New York to London and then take the train to Sicily? They want us to completely change our life style but they do nothing to alter theirs. They look like fools.
