Following the hugely successful Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids on a chain of food processing plants in Mississippi earlier this month, hundreds of job vacancies have now become available to local American workers. In Early August, ICE completed a series of raids across six cities in Mississippi, resulting in the arrest of 680 illegal aliens, making the operation the largest single-state bust in US history.Federal officials confirmed they captured almost 700 illegal immigrants who had been working for a chain of seven Koch Foods' food processing plants.

Should be some managerial jobs at Koch Foods too to replace those who did the hiring of the illegals.
bttt
Oh crap, not this mess again.
This blog is like the trail behind a homeless guy with a bad case of the runs.
It will have the same result as vacancies in the agricultural fields across the country - no one will take those available jobs. Welfare is too lucrative to leave home to pick fruits and vegetables - I almost said “cotton” but caught myself in time.. It’s amazing how we’ve been programmed since 2008 to catch ourselves before saying things that will OFFEND OTHERS...
Great, now we will be stuck with people who cannot read the lavas tus manos signs in the bathroom handling the food
Absolutely! Worth repeating.
They had a job fair and a lot of Americans showed up
THAT’S what we like to hear.
Since this was sudden it would be fair to help AMERICAN workers relocate or make other adjustments in order to take advantage of the opportunities, it seems to me.
At the very least make sure the word gets out.
There’s a double positive post :)
Let’s see what happens before we go negative. :)
There will be plenty of time for that and if you’re right, then you make the case for the NEED for illegals.
Since i’m not gonna open that web page, are these ACTUAL ads for jobs now or writer’s opinion?
Many owners would just make everyone else work twice as hard.
But I hope this happens more and more
Here’s the story at a site that is not a shiteous blog:
https://dailycaller.com/2019/08/13/ice-raids-jobs/
Would that be owned by the same Koch Brothers of “open borders” infamy?
It should read
ICE Raids Create dozens of Businesses for Auction to Americans
For EVERY SINGLE PAYCHECK an Illegal Alien receives, the Business Owner Absolutely has to COMMIT the Following FELONIES::
Engage in Identity Theft, They are using a Stolen Identity
Commit WIRE FRAUD, All payroll transactions are transmitted via the internet to the IRS
Commit Bank Fraud, All transactions go through the Federal Reserve System
Commit TAX Fraud, they are defrauding the IRS by deliberately filing False Information.
As there should be. I believe that illegal immigration would end and there would be a mass migration out of the country if businesses were severely penalized for hiring illegal immigrants. Say, $10,000 per infraction. $10,000 because that is probably how much the business is saving per person in taxes (FICA) and the low wages that they pay illegal aliens.
Hit the businesses in the bank and hit them hard.
Yup. Actual job openings. Not sure if they publicly advertised yet. Companies often try to fill positions through the job fairs first.
“One August 12 job fair saw roughly 150 locals attended to apply for jobs at their local Koch Foods plants.”
GREAT!!
As it should be.
Hard working legal Americans of ALL races can fill those jobs.
Let’s multiply this by 10,000 and we can get many who stopped looking or stayed on SSDI permanently for depression into the workforce.
BTW, not knocking mental illness as a fake reason to get SSDI. Living under obama could cause SEVERE depression.
But maybe it’s time to fight one’s self out of it and a good job would help possibly.
No. It’s actually pronounced “cook”. They have plant near me.
