A woman who put her recycling in the wrong coloured bags was arrested and locked in a cell by police.
Officers detained Lindsey Webb after she failed to appear at Suffolk Magistrates' Court.
The 34-year-old was due to attend in April after she was accused of breaching the Environmental Protection Act four times the previous month by putting out her rubbish in the street.

Perhaps if she wasn’t trying to DESTROY THE PLANET, she wouldn’t be facing jail time.
Think about it, you cynics who think there are no differences between Dems and Republicans. If the Dems get full power (including the courts), you’ll be staring down the SAME LAWS. Republicans, maybe, but MUCH LESS likely.

Sort of a misleading headline.
Yes, the original ticket was for the trash, but apparently she was jailed for failure to appear...
Way back before people figured out the ‘earth saving’ recycling was going to cost another truck or two on the road to collect or more trucks because more pick ups, I used to see a ‘recycle’ truck transferring their load onto a regular garbage truck behind shopping centers in the middle of the night..
So today, when at the dump I look at the different chutes and comment that there is one or two giant dumpsters at the bottom...<: <: <:
