While doing little military damage, it revitalized America's hope in fighting so short after the Pearl Harbor attack. The Doolittle raid was four months after Pearl Harbor, not four weeks.
Thank you, you are correct. It occurred on April 18th, 132 days after the attack on Pearl. I knew the dates and was thinking in terms of weeks, which was 19 (minus a day), but inadvertently used the months’ difference.
Or, you could blame the spell-checker. ;-
