You don’t think there were “negotiations” back in the hunting and gathering era, but cooperative marriage partners simply appeared spontaneously?

“Do you know why Kellogg created corn flakes?”

So he could bury C.W. Post for ripping him off.

Nope, oldest profession is politician/law man as in chief of the tribe. Hunting and gathering in groups predates farming. Second oldest profession is groupie to the chief.

And God sent Adam out to till the soil of the Earth.

Was it hard? Compared to life in the Garden, sure, but the Wizards of Smart tell us that the prehistoric man spent an average of 20 hours a week feeding the family and tending home.

Where did they come up with “20 hours”?

My guess would be “every waking hour, from dawn to dusk, every day, trying to avoid starving to death”.

One thing a woman in the world's oldest profession says is:

My EO seizing assault weapons would Be Constitutional because "Yes We Can"

Kellogg went to the patent office and waited in line to file his claim on Corn Flakes.

After that he went to the trademark office and waited in line to trademark his brand and product names.

After that he went to the grocers convention to promote his wares. He saw the line at the registration desk and waited and waited and waited.

Exhausted he asked someone where he could get a quick drink. The guide pointed to the punch bowl in the corner and said, “Go over there, there’s no punch line.”

I don’t drink. It’s just a silly joke that I can actually say that I created.

“Adam and Eve tilled the ground and tended the flocks.”

But wasn’t that after Eve tasted the apple and enticed Adam to do the same?

Ive read quite a bit about this and obviously while there would have been lean times or harsh seasons, in may resource rich environments it was likely a quite small percentage of their time...maybe a few hours a day

Another thing that’s overlooked a lot is that bwfore agriculture people were larger and life expectancies much longer than after it started

I have not found any indication that Eve did more than eat from a tree she was commanded not to eat from. Do you know anything that is more than a bad drummer?

“But wasn’t that after Eve tasted the apple…”

KJV - Genesis 3:6 - And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

She’s the original pusher.
