Weiner turned his iPhone, iPad and laptop computer in to Granite Intelligence on Sept. 23, 2016 and they in turn, turned it over to the FBI. So far, no proof NYPD ever had possession of the laptop\Iphone\Ipad

Granite Intelligence is a private investigative company located in NY, hired by the gov’t. I’m thinking they probably had eyes on Weiner so if and when he turned his stuff on, they could nab his stuff.
