Why? Are there not more practical uses for this funding? Are we ever going to tighten our belts and try to catch up financially before wasting funds on unproductive hobbies like this?
Nasa gets a lot done for a mere 20 billion a year. Contrast that with the military that has a budget of 800 billion. My guess is the military wastes more money than Nasas annual budget. Then of course we have the 21 trillion dollar debt. 20 billion wouldn’t even make an interest payment.
