Kanye West has dedicated his new album to the Gospel. Millions and millions are listening. The comments are overwhelmingly positive. I've never been a fan but he has my respect.
Gave it a listen last night. Actually loved it, to my surprise.
Dude, its a little ironic that your name is Pilgrims Progress. As I always understood it, all the antiquated, formalist preachers in John Bunyans time reacted about the same way you are now when he wrote his stuff.
I am not into populist preaching for populisms sake either brother, but you might want leave grace a little room. Ive never been a fan of the guys music in the past but he seems to be genuinely trying to turn his life around and give the glory to Whom it is due. At least leave open the possibility that God can decide to use the unlikeliest of tools, like Bunyan, for His purpose.
If Kanye West is sincere, hell have plenty of principalities and powers opposing him. Probably best not to pile on.
When the New Testament church that Jesus started is taken out at the rapture, Satan will still have his church and he will still have his new age ministers such as Joel Olsteen, Kanye West, and Alice Cooper to carry on his work in his counterfeit gospel and church. Theyll make mighty use of the N.I.V. and the other Bible perversions. And all the people that hate the KJV so much will be happy to see that it is gone as well.
Dude, what on earth are you talking about? Your little corner must be awfully lonely.
I think PP’s gonna be kinda surprised at who DOESN’T make it to the Promised Land!
Salvation is a very difficult road and the gates are narrow. Belief is only a first step, a baby step toward salvation.
I don’t understand how any Christian could not see good in this.
Christ came to save the world...He has used many imperfect people throughout history.
I feel sorry for people who are closed off to the power and unlimited potential of Christ’s saving Grace.
Kanye, whose music I despise, may have found redemption and he may be Saved or transforming into a strong messenger for Christ.
So, how do you know when you have done enough to earn your way into heaven?
Me. Being called a “pompous zealot” in this regard is a badge of honor — like “deplorable”.
You don't know. How could you?
Know? of course!
“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life” (1 John 5:20).
It is more like you are happy with your own religion and are not interested in the answer.
Amen! I’ve got the Book!
No, don’t you be fooled. This is not only real, but Kanye is going to be a major, major force for change in the US in the coming 5 years.
In 2016, on New Mexico radio, I predicted he would be the GOP nominee in 2024. The host couldn’t believe it.
If you listen to his interview with the album, he says, “WHEN I am president of the United States” and gives the year 2024.
I know, skepticism abounds. Just watch.
God will use Kanye in a big way.
FIXED.
(These are the same comments people said about Paul)
I agree . . .
II Corinthians 4:4
No one who confesses Jesus is Lord can be condemned. I’m just so excited by this.
Kanye realizes he is about to suffer condemnation like no one since Trump himself, and he is ready for it. This will be an amazing time.
It is interesting that people condemned Charles (?) Wesley, who went into the pubs in England and borrowed all the drinking songs to turn into church hymns.
Seems Kanye is calling on people to fall on Gods words for strength with that hard road bit.
Road least traveled and all that ..
No he ain’t I like what he is doing but he is nothing but at racist at heart and he hates white people and will tire of doing the right thing and resort back to his old ways
