You’re welcome. The individual stories here are really heart-warming, and there have been so many. People on the outside, who think the diet cannot be maintained because it eliminates things like candy and pizza, often don’t understand the death spiral that awaits obese people when they develop diabetes (heart disease, nerve damage, amputations, etc.). But victims in that situation often do understand where their lives are going.
And given that path, ever increasing doses of Insulin in conjunction with badly deteriorating health...staying on the Keto diet to avoid all that is not quite as hard, at least for them.
We eat the sauce, cheese, veggies, and meat and throwaway the crust.
It does mean we buy two Papa Johns The Works pizzas, though, with extra sauce.
Its hard to comprehend how many carbs were always in the crust we used to eat. Its a massive amount of empty nutrition calories, now eliminated.
