I find that coffee is too acid on my prostate. So when I drink coffee, I also include a glass or two of bicarbonate of soda which helps adjust the ph back to normal.

Keeping your body as alkaline and not acid is the key to a healthy life.

I put a 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in my coffee. Kills the acid in the coffee. I also brush my teeth with it. I started doing that a while ago when someone here on FR posted an article about a bacteria in the mouth that’s linked to Alzheimer’s that is killed with baking soda. It was fascinating.

I have added an 1/8 of a teaspoon of baking soda to my coffee grounds before it brews. The coffee is less acidic and tastes smoother. Helps my stomach all in one shot. Been doing this for years.
