This was stupid on the President’s part. It seemed the republican strategy was to not make this witness cry and make it so boring people would turn it off. There would be little to no news and a big flop, just like the first hearing. But no, the president can’t just say I wanted to go in a different direction with foreign policy, ambassador’s serve at my pleasure, and she should thank me that she has a great job at State with the same pay.
