“Bears and Cowboys fans”

I pictured Cowboys fans fighting bears. TR meme? (Nah, he’d hate the Cowboys.)

Even if they go to the playoffs I predict they’ll get smashed in the 1st round

I think that’s a pretty good prediction. Winning that division is like winning the bathing suit competition in the women’s studies department.

Texas (and several other states who still follow Friday night high school football seriously) are probably laughing their asses off at this public display of sportsmanship and mutual respect between high paid political entertainers who represent the best todays NFL has to offer.

But once upon a time such was viewed as a minor difference of opinion and wasn’t taken seriously until grandma left the stands and joined the melee. Then you knew someone was going to get their ass kicked (or caned) in the worst way. /s

I’m so old I can remember when the Cowboys used to be called “GOD’s team” and grandma was not to be ***ked with. But Jerry Jones, Howdy Doody Garrett, and Pajama boy have fixed that. Oh, the brutality...

About brutality. I remember the Ditka Bears and Green Bay Packer teams of yesteryear. I expected each team to be very physical and they didn’t disappoint or bore me.

It was a manly sport back then.

Actually it had to do with a mayor named Laura Miller, IIRC.

Please note: I actually agree that the billionaires should build their own damn sports palaces, and would support outlawing all city and state sweetheart tax deals that have since devolved into a way for big business to shake down government and soak the locals ... let states and cities compete based only on business climate, tax burden that everyone shares, and other fundamentals ... but if they can shake you down legally....
