House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is leaving open the possibility of withholding articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump until she is assured a fair trial in the Senate.
“So far we haven’t seen anything that looks fair to us,” Pelosi said Wednesday after her caucus voted to impeach the president. She was referring to what Democratic leadership plans on doing after the vote.

She is essentially saying that we believe you are guilty of these horrible crimes that are national security threat, that we claim to have evidence for, but we won’t actually send it to the Senate to Try and possibly convict you because it wouldn’t be fair. That is not something a confident person says.

I would tell her: No, Nan, keep stuffing. That isn’t far enough.....
So Nancy holds back the Articles of Impeachment until she is assured of no corruption in the Senate. (Now she knows how Trump felt about giving aid to Ukraine.) But, what if the Senate wants to see the Articles of Impeachment before writing the procedures and rules that Nancy so desperately wants to see? Sounds like a classic stand-off.

Even mo' better, Art. 2, Sec. 3 says:
"...he [the prez] may, on extraordinary occasions, convene both houses, or either of them...."
Let Nancy end the session, then Trump can call the House back into session and make them stay there until Nancy coughs up the articles of impeachment. Ain't the Constitution grand (when it's faithfully applied)?
I’ve been studying politics since I was very young.
My view is that right now the Democrats are in a very bad way.
They thought they jumped off the ledge with a bungie cord attached and now they are hurtling towards the ground and they are not sure if it’s tied on.
I have to tell you, I am very proud of Donald Trump and the Republicans that fought through this. We are going to find out who has been stealing huge sums of money from this country. That’s what this is all about. Trump has known about this stuff for decades but I don’t believe even he knew how bad it was.

It’s all Kabuki Theatre. She wants to call him impeached but she doesn’t want to give the Senate the opportunity to find him not guilty. She wants the indictment but she doesn’t want the verdict.
Well an indictment is not official until it is submitted to the clerk of the court. The impeachment is not official until it is lodged with the Senate.
At this point Trump has not been impeached. If she lodges the articles with the Senate, then and only then, can anyone call Donald Trump an impeached president. At this point, there are only 2.
there is no requirement that they "receive" anything at all, per the Constitution. the House voted. Their role ENDS. Now the Senate must try the impeachment. They don't need to have "articles" "transmitted" to them, or have "managers" be present. Just a vote. 2/3rd to remove, or nada.
Encouraging for who? President Trump looked excited , happy, and pumped tonight.

If she doesn’t send them then she’s not doing her constitutional duty..she’s violating the constitution. Then it becomes a super fake impeachment.
